what is your wild calling?

Have you felt a persistent call toward
something greater in your life?

Not necessarily broader, but deeper.

Not necessarily louder, but resounding with more truth.

Not necessarily more visible, but more valuable.

When something wild is calling to us, we can't un-hear its call...though that doesn't mean we may not try.

We come up with all kinds of reasons not to listen - and most of them are limiting beliefs:

  • I'm not rich enough for that

  • I don't have enough education for that

  • This idea is too absurd

  • I don't deserve that kind of freedom

  • How could someone like me have that kind of impact in the world?

It all comes down to fear.

I think Marianne Williamson had the right idea when she said,

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that
we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be
brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’

Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God.

Your playing small does not serve the world.

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine, as children do.

We were born to make manifest
the glory of God that is within us.

It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.
— Marianne Williamson, A Return to Love

So...what if you listened to the wild call in your life?

Take a risk. Give yourself permission to shine.

Because the truth is - none of your justifications or avoidance will silence the call. And often the voice of truth in you that is denied only howls louder to be heard.

This is your sign: show up for yourself.
Answer the wild call.

To living whole & wild,
